The Newsletter Highway
You write the newsletter. Everything after the last period is handled. Period.
The Newsletter Highway is a one-off build that connects your newsletter, blog and social media inside your own accounts. One email becomes a blog post and a queue of social drafts. Your only job is the writing, with one review step before anything goes public.
Who it’s for
You already sell books. That’s all you need to build on.
The Highway is for fiction authors with readers somewhere, and a system that hasn’t caught up. Maybe you have:
- A list that has gone quiet and needs waking up
- A social media following that never turns into subscribers
- A newsletter tool, a free book and a scheduler that were never connected
- A newsletter that eats far more time than it should
no list at all yet? we start from scratch
Your part
You touch it three times. That’s the whole job.
Once your Highway runs, this is all that’s left for you.
No. 1
Write
Your newsletter, in your words, wherever you like to write.
the fun bit
No. 2
Send
One click. Readers get it first; it becomes a blog post a few days later.
one click, promise
No. 3
Approve
Social drafts wait in a queue. You read, tweak, approve. Nothing goes out unseen.
you stay the voice
Two ways in
Wake up what you have, or start fresh.
Version A
Tune what you have
For a list, a free book and socials that exist but don’t talk to each other, or a list that has gone quiet.
- Your existing account checked, template cleaned up
- Sign-up forms checked and fixed
- Broken free-book connections repaired
- Welcome sequence rewritten or restructured, approved by you
- A wake-up plan for a quiet list
- Blog and social scheduler wired in
most authors start here
Version B
Build it from scratch
For readers on social media but no newsletter yet. About three weeks.
- Newsletter account and a branded template
- Sign-up form, landing page and double opt-in
- Your free book connected to your list
- Welcome sequence written by me in your voice, edited by you before anything goes live
- Blog and social scheduler connected
- One content sheet as your control centre
Both merge onto the same Highway
Your first real newsletter runs end to end. You get a recorded walkthrough, a one-page manual and 30 days of fixes, and I remove my access at handover. Price on request, after a free intro call.
The route
Step by step
You touch it three times: writing, one click, and a few minutes of review. The rest is the Highway.
1
You
You write
Your newsletter, in your own words, in the place you like to write. When it’s ready, you mark it ready.
2
One click
It lands in your newsletter tool
The issue arrives in your branded template, ready to go. You give it a last look and send.
3
Automatic
Readers first, blog second
A few days later the same piece becomes a blog post. Subscribers get it first, and the blog brings in readers who haven’t found you yet.
4
Automatic
Social drafts wait in a queue
Text posts for Facebook and Threads, pins for Pinterest, and carousel slides for Instagram and TikTok, built from templates in your own fonts and colours.
5
You
You approve, it posts
A few minutes to read, tweak and approve. Nothing goes out unseen. Videos, Reels and anything with your face or voice stay yours to post as you like.
Built for fiction readers
An author newsletter is not a shop newsletter.
Most email setups are built to sell products: discounts, flash sales, abandoned carts. Your readers didn’t sign up for that. They signed up for you and your stories. I build for the way fiction readers actually behave.
- Relationship content for the long months between releases, with a launch mode that switches on for release week.
- A welcome sequence that reads like a story, not a row of announcements, so freebie readers become buyers.
- Subscribers hear it first. The blog version follows a few days later and brings in new readers.
- Links that work for Kindle, Kobo, Apple and the rest, because readers are loyal to their store.
- Readers who never open are quietly removed, so you stop paying to email people who left long ago.
AI never touches your writing
What you write is what your readers get. AI social drafts are optional, your choice, and always reviewed by you.
Nothing goes public unseen
Every social post waits for your approval. You stay the voice of your books.
You own everything
I build inside your accounts, document every step, and remove my access when we’re done.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will AI write my newsletter?
No. AI never touches your writing. If you want AI to draft your social posts, that’s your choice, and you review every one.
Do I need a blog?
No. The Highway also runs from newsletter straight to social media.
Which tools do you use?
Whatever you already pay for, wherever possible: MailerLite, Kit or similar for the newsletter, BookFunnel or similar for your free book, a scheduler such as Later or Publer for social media.
Isn’t handing over my list risky?
I work inside your accounts, so you own everything at every step. Every step is documented, and my access is removed when we’re done.
What if it breaks after you’re gone?
You have the walkthrough and the manual, and 30 days of fixes are included. After that, an optional monthly care plan keeps it running when your tools change.
Have you done this before?
Yes. I’ve built and run newsletters and email lists for my clients for years. [Add one concrete example or result you can share.]
Ready to get back to the book?
Thirty minutes, free. Tell me how your newsletter runs today, and I’ll tell you honestly whether the Highway fits.
