I’m a word-smithing, book-toting, grammar-slinging Gernglish Girl who is turning her passion for writing into her means of living.
The daughter of an Englishman and a Ger(wo)man, I grew up in Stuttgart, Germany, interspersed with a year-long stint at a high school in Rock Rapids, Iowa. In my formative years, you would find me either horseback riding, reading or writing (about horseback riding. Ah, the single-mindedness of young girls.).
After high school, I threw myself at the study of economics, majoring first in Change Management (Dipl.) and then Innovation Management (MSc), after which I started working at Porsche – yes, that Porsche – where I gained experience in project assistance and project management in the departments of powertrain- and engine development.
While I enjoyed managing projects at the company that gifts the world with awesome cars (hello, 918 Spyder), I always wanted to take my experience in the above-mentioned fields and give them my own, personal twist by joining them with my passion for writing, and I finally went freelance to pursue this dream – and possibly to support you with yours.Take a look at my samples and services, to see if we might be a good fit.
In my free time, you’ll find me working on my next novel, reading, skiing, playing tennis, or trying to win the pub quiz at my favorite Irish Pub. After all, there’s a first time for everything…
